Summer learning journey practice.

 Today we signed up for the Summer learning journey and this was one of the activities that we did with the whole class.

We had to choose a original piece of art and we had to copy a bit of the art that we chose and this is my one.

 Kiaora welcome to Aotearoa the land of the long white cloud. This is an amazing country that you should hear about.It has the great outdoors and it has amazing activities that you should hear about like bungee jumping,tree climbing,rock climbing and archery and lots more. You can read the history of New Zealand and how moaries were the first one to find this country. New Zealand is known for the world's eighth happiest and nicest country.

This is my writing  on my science lab 

 I found a strange package by the door. I looked at the package and it looked familiar. I remember that I was going to the shop and I found it just sitting there at the door and so I picked it up and a big monster  came out and said go away and never come back. So i just slammed the door and then the mailman  came he was so so mad that i shut  the door on him so he pushed the door open he picked me up and throw me to my mum my mum said get out of my house you alien and then he mail man said to my mum what happened then my mum said to me go to your room now and stay there in till lunch but that is about 3 hours i dont care now go but as soon as i slammed the door the mail man smiled at me like it was a lie and it was and he even knows that it was a lie but my mum didn't see she gave the mailman ay nice worn drink before he left so i went into my mums room and I got into some of her cloths that she has weed before and i got my note and i said go

Indy-mays Popcorn

 In room 5 we have been writing about Popcorn.

Why does Popcorn Pop? By Indea-May Pop Pop Pop The sweet sound of Popcorn. Just think about if there was no Popcorn there wouldn't be the sweet POP sound. You can't beat Popcorn! You can’t beat going to the movies and smelling that fantastic popcorn smell. Popcorn starts off in a field, grown by farmers all over the world. There are many different types of corn but only one turns into popcorn. The kernel of a popcorn has water inside, 19% of the kernel is water. It is this exact amount of water that is needed for the kernel to pop.When the water gets warm the water becomes steam and makes lots of pressure the kernel then pops into Popcorn that we eat. The good things that you can add to Popcorn, butter, caramel, salt and chocolate sauce.

The Perfect Dad for Me

The perfect dad for me is a dad that makes me laugh,
makes me feel safe and makes me feel at home. 
He would be hard working, kind, caring and strong. 
He lets me go on the farm to help him to do some work.
He goes on school camps with me.
He is so funny when he tucks me into my bed.

The perfect dad is strong and has big muscles but is also flexible
and can do things like flips and skateboard. 
He is also a fantastic cook! 
Who cooks up anything that I want to eat. 
He takes me to the pool when I want to go to the park.
He does anything I want. He gets me some lollies and treats….
they are so good they are my best favorites.
